Last updated: December 19, 2025

1. Introduction

At MacSpoof, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our MAC address changing software.

2. Data Collection & Minimization

MacSpoof operates locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your original MAC address, your spoofed MAC address, or your browsing history to our servers.

The only information we process is related to:

  • Account Authentication: If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials securely via Firebase Authentication.
  • Payments: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect solely for the purpose of:

  • Providing and maintaining the Service.
  • Managing your account and subscription.
  • Communicating with you about updates, support, or security notices.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal info. Your preferences and settings within the MacSpoof app (such as dark mode preference or saved settings) are stored locally on your Mac and are not synced to the cloud unless explicitly stated.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business:

  • Firebase: For authentication and backend infrastructure.
  • Stripe: For secure payment processing.

These services have their own privacy policies which govern how they handle your data.

6. MacSpoof Functionality

MacSpoof changes the MAC address of your network interface. This change is temporary and reverts upon restart. We do not keep logs of your MAC address changes.
